Well....I am 34

It has been a great birthday. I got the sweetest messages from my friends and family.
My cute niece sent me a pic.

We are so lucky to have the best nanny ever. She is like my little sister. She keeps me hip on music and is fun to talk to. She loves G so much. God has truly blessed us with her. She arrived at such a difficult time and just slipped right into the the chaos of our life. I love the pictures she sends me during the day. It helps fill the void of missing Graysen during the workday. This was one of my birthday pics while she was having a playing date with her friend Anna Claire. They look like trouble in 15 years.

I must confess that during the last few weeks I have been so overcome with joy that I have burst into tears. I just feel so very thankful to have the friends and family in my life.
We have a core group of friends that have been in our life for more than a decade. I don't know what I wold do without them. They are our rock and we have been through so many things together. They make me laugh and love life.
I had a friend tell me that when she had children she and her husband just stopped fighting. I never knew how true that would be for Shawn and I. Life is so good with him. We have our routine and he just spoils me. Yes, I know I am SPOILED and I have no problem in saying that. He made my birthday, and makes everyday great. He is building my dream house and never tells me no. He has tried to make it perfect and I couldn't be happier. It has always been a joke with us that I am never satisfied. Well, now he knows I can be satisfied. Every time I walk the new house I am just flooded with joy and excitement.  I can't wait to move in and continue to live our life in that house.
Life isn't perfect. I painfully miss my grandparents, I don't see either one of my parents enough, my brother is....well my brother, but I couldn't be happier. Maybe it is the hint of fall, or the start of my favorite time of year, or football season, but I really couldn't be happier. La la la la la, life is wonderful, isn't it?

Swing Time

She loves being outdoors, and she goes to the park all the time, but she hadn't been in the swings in awhile. She giggled and clapped and had a blast. I loved the pictures and wanted to share them.

Blowing kisses.

We even had time for a little squirrel chasing.

I love that she stopped and strategically went after him from another angle.

But he was safe in his tree soon. Maybe next time....

Great Wolf Lodge and My Cousin's Wedding Weekend

We headed up to Dallas for my cousin's wedding and stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge to also have some cousin fun.We LOVED the place and can't wait to take G back when she is a little older.

Someone didn't want to go to sleep when we finally made it in our room.

The next morning we headed down to the water park for a day of water fun

She loved watching the bucket fill up and dump water over everyone

All of the girls had big smiles and lots of giggles all day.

They continued their girl fun while we got ready for the wedding.

I only ended up with blurry pictures from my camera of the wedding but still wanted to share. I love this picture.

Graysen was fascinated with the D.J and the bride. She spent all of her time dancing next to them or hanging out with the D.J  (it is genetic).

We had a quick cousin lunch before heading home.

One last kiss.

Turtle, turtle, turtle, turtle

It is her favorite word. She is lucky she has a daddy that can draw because Mommy can't even do a stick figure right. We have these little drawings all over our house. Shawn sent me this video while I was on vacation and I had to share. She also loves saying bye-bye when things are going away.

We know who had the last laugh...

This was Graysen a few weeks ago.

Guess what little duck went and got her friends today?
