Birthday Fun

We started off the big day by going to Abigale's newborn shoot. Graysen was helping Mrs. Deanna get ready.
I couldn't wait to put her birthday bloomers on her.
G has the honor of sharing her birthday with my Mom. So her DD, Shawn, and I went to the children's museum.

Shawn had almost as much fun as her.
She already loves driving like her Daddy.
 And being an engineer.

 Shawn still having fun.
After all that hard work it was time to take a nap.
DD and Mommy had birthday bubbles.
"Are all of these people here for my Birthday?"
A huge group of people for her to entertain. Do you see that smile?

We ended the day with a birthday dinner at Jasper's.

As a birthday treat she tried a french fry for the first time.

 She said YUMMY.
We had a great day off work and enjoyed celebrating her special day with my Mom.

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt

We didn't have it last year because I was uber pregnant so I did my best to make up for it this year.

We had some very fun Easter Bunnies. I think next year they should wear costumes.

I love this picture of Conner chilling in the planter.  I'm king of the world.
I had this great vision of all the babies taking a picture together. There were 8 there and these were the 3 that made the shot (naps, feeding schedule, mom's doing thier own thing). Katie said Isaac was crying because his basket didn't have his name on it, but I am pretty sure he just wanted the egg hunting to begin.

After the little kids were done it was time for the big kids to go

I am sure he won't appreciate this picture but it was too awesome not to share. Speaking of appreciation I had no idea how much he helped us until I looked through the pictures, but a big thank you from the Speer family for making it such a good day for the kids.
The kids were excited to pick their prizes from their eggs with numbers in them.
Nothing makes me happier than when the person I bought a prize for wins it. I saw this Dora basket and really hoped Leila would get it and she did.
There was a puppet show? I completely missed this so I am happy Shawn took my camera for awhile.
My how our lives have changed....
Graysen is very interested in the donkey
Aunt Terie is telling the kids about Trixie, her pet donkey.
Nothing says daughterly love like a confetti egg smashed on your head
Girl time starts at such an early age
It was a great day and we can't wait to do it again next year.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

1. Boat Rides
Graysen went on her first boat ride. I was pretty sure she was going to have my love of water and being outside already. She loved it. The only thing she didn't like was having a life vest that was too big.
2. Bed Head
Shawn calls her fuzzy head sometimes. Those days are about to be over because she is starting to get some serious bed head when she wakes up.
3. Bathing Suit Bottoms
If you know me at all you know I love little kids bathing suit butts. They are just so cute.
4. Book Time
Look who loves her books. She brings them to you to read to her. I am really hopeful she will be a reader.

5. House Starts  (especially mine)
Our house finally started. Graysen has already been to play in the form set.
6. Milestones
Shawn celebrated a birthday and we celebrated our 9 year anniversary in the last two weeks. We stayed out and had a party until..wait for it... 8:30 on his birthday. We were so tired from moving and our garage sale and the craziness of our work schedule we barely made it through dinner. It worked out nicely because G was still up when we got home and she got to help Daddy with his presents.

Daddy - I want a pony
